UCLA Special Projects

Project 1

I was tasked with finishing production on numerous courses that had finished production. In order to keep a consistent look at feel throughout the various productions across campus I built a few motion graphic templates that could be easily used across campus. The template included a lower third, a UCLA bug, introdocution, Copyright screen and an ending credits fade out screen witht UCLA logo

Project 2

This projected consisted of an Idea I had about bringing the OTLI studio online and remote. With the need to be distant I saw the need to innovate our approach during the COVID-19 Pandemic. With my years of experience in live broadcast and corporate communications I knew that to be successful in the future we were going to need remote recording capabilities. The technology I implemented works rather well, and alleviated potential COVID risks related to studio employees. This remote approach also has improved

Project 3

The UCLA content server is an ongoing project that is still being vetted but I my idea is to create a server for the various studios on campus that includes the UCLA communications department to house useful collateral that can be shared amongst departments to decrease the amount of overlap and cost associated with productions. Often times content is created and then lost, with this project it will be universally available and accessible and be a very cost effective solutions to an otherwise very costly process called content creation.
